Split brep with multiple does not split Brep at all

Hey everyone,

I have a Brep with 3 fully intersecting surfaces which I was hoping would be able to split the Brep into two separate Brep’s. However, despite the fact that the surfaces intersect, no splitting occurs. Any ideas on why this happens?

And also what methods to fix it?

Thanks!

Extend the cutting objects past the object to be cut.

Or Intersect the cutting objects with the object to be cut, and use the resulting polycurves as the cutting objects.

Completely wierd work-around. :upside_down_face:
As @davidcockey suggested surfaces are extended ( Extend Surface from Parakeet was used or they can be extended in RH as well). But they had to be transformed to solids so boolean solid operations could be applied…since spliting with original or extended surfaces is not working…

Why use Boolean operation rather than simple Split?

At least not on my pc…
