I have a request for a rhino 9 feature; a native spellchecker. This would be hugely helpful. I often spot spelling mistakes after issuing drawings to the construction crew.
Need: real-time spellcheck for all text objects (text, leaders, dims, and layout titles etc).
Nice to have: AU/UK/US dictionaries, custom word list, maybe a “check all layouts” command, and batch report of flagged terms.
Currently, I use FindText if its an error that is all over my drawings but that only really helps if there are multiples of the same error and you have to spot it first.
Could you advise if there is anything on the cards for rhino 9?
The text editor is being rewritten for Rhino 9. At this point, there are plans on having spell check work for that new editor. Time will tell if that gets introduced in Rhino 9 or not. As you saw in that other thread on this topic, there is a test command that enables the current spell checker.

(sorry, I should have replied here, instead of the other thread)
But like I said; the spell checker really needs to work weather you are working in lowercase/capitalised & all Caps!
I’ll make do for now, but would be keen to have this as a R9 update. I know they have native spellchecker in Vectorworks.
