Sorting and grouping of points

Hi, can someone help me with finding out the error? It works fine when I explode tree and connect each of the branch. Why can’t I connect the lists of list directly?

The Z-coordinate is supposed to remain at 6.897, however it changes to 7.897 after the first branch.

Hi sorry, I used a plugin to generate those points. Have internalised the points and uploaded a new set of file.
