I would like to ask for a suggestion regarding the following problem:
Usually when I have an object which is behind another object, and I select the first one, i can snap to selected object without any issues, even if it’s behind something/covered by something. However, sometimes for unknown reasons this feature simply stops working. It happens randomly and I don’t touch anything in the settings before it happens.
I am attaching a screenshot of the situation.
Has anyone encountered anything similar? How can I bring the snap-to-selected-behind feature back to work? It’s very handy…
i encountered such issues myself, i usually put things in wire to be sure that objects dont obstruct each other… can you share the file and repeat the behaviour?
Yes, I have to do the same. Problem is that I have a LOT of objects (working on complex baroque buliding), so even wireframe is not always convenient.
I don’t know if I can share the file because it’s very heavy.
Surprisingly, it doesn’t happen with some other files I work on…
Hello!
I tried to open my file on a colleague’s PC, but the issue was not present anymore. He has Rhino 7 as well.
This issue is also absent in most of my other files, but present in this one.
Why? Rhino for Windows 7.36 (7.36.23346.16351) was released 2 months ago.
Because Rhino is provided by the company I am working for, therefore we prefer to not update versions on each PC separately upon the wish of each user, but update alltogether in bulk.
