Snapping on Visible Geometry

Hi,
Is it possible to implement a Snap option so that when we try to position the cursor on a complex 3d geometry we Snap only to what is visible rather than to the multitude of existing geometries hidden behind the front one.
Similar in concept to the CullControlPolygon where the Points behind the objects are disengaged even for snapping.

Hi Marco,

unfortunately not in Rhino5 but Rhino6 WIP does have a new setting in the Modeling Aids called “Snap to occluded objects” which you can disable.
