Hi everyone,
I am working on a morphed diagrid facade, which is composed of a curved pattern in which the openings vary their width towards the corners of the building. I built up the pattern by defining the intersection points of the grid with the floors, and then using relative item to build curves which i then turned into interpolated curves. The result creates some morphing in the curves, especially on the bottom and top of the facade.
Current result:
I was wondering if anyone has an idea how to create this pattern with smooth curves, while still ensuring the intersections occuring at the floor levels? The intersections have to stay level in order to support the floors (the grid is modulating twice per floor, but the important connections are the floor heights every 4m).
Here is a sketch of the direction of the result I’m looking for:
and here is my gh definition with the facade surface input:

Thanks!
P.S. I’m working in meters because this definition is connecting to my Karamba analysis.
