I was converting a 3d scan of a shoe to a subd , and have managed to model the top part , but am confused how to go about the sole. my approach as of now was to create individual subd surfaces and join them together - but this dosent seem to work well , and im unable to generate the circular portrusions , you can see in the image. would love to create a parameteric definition for the same if thats possible. need urgent help with this so would really appreciate if anyone can help me with this. attaching my work in progress so far.
