Shear Component not working as expected?

I am doing exactly the same thing in Rhino and it works, but not using the gh component. Expected would be (gray) but I get the shape in (green)

I’m probably doing something embarrassingly wrong…

It’s strange that it uses xy plane. I tried it but I was getting a shorter shape. That was because of the second correction. Reference and Target point have to be at same height. Rhino does not allow for a difference in z coordinate value between the points, so I missed that extra info the gh component required.
