I assigned rectangle to a Curve component and then did something simple, this is what i get with rhino 4 and old grasshopper:
and different result with Rhino 6 and new grasshopper:
Can someone tell me why?
weird. Same for me. Its definitely a dangerous bug, because it returns wrong values instead of an error message. It seems that silent casting was removed, which is actually good.
You can prevent such errors by not plugin components together which do not make sense. Curves simply don’t belong into Surface parameters…
Similar errors occurred during last weeks. Just check your v5 scripts for such inconsistent combinations when open them in v6 until its getting fixed by David or someone from McNeel
