Annotations in shaded view respond properly to display order changes. In rendered viewport, annotations don’t respond properly. Is there a hidden or obvious display setting that is not allowing my annotations to display in front in rendered view?

Hi Robert - from that RH-55466 link you can see that this is currently on the Future list of things to look at. There’s a lot of development going on regarding other, and more fundamental, display issues and so I wouldn’t expect the status of this particular item to get changed in the short term.
