Selecting hatch graphically overrules all other geometry

So there is this minor thing that has been going on my nerves for the longest of time.

When selecting a hatch, the color of the selection will override all other geometry that is under or above the hatch, which makes it impossible to further select or edit. So what I’ve done the last 10 years is just avoiding the hatch until last, but its getting abit tedious.

So I’m wondering, if its possible to change the tranpsarency of the selected geometry, the same way you’re able to change the selection color? That way I could put the slection to 90% and still see items that are withing the hatches boundary.

This has been on the list for quite some time → RH-17045 Select: Non-obscuring selection highlight

You could try setting Rhino.Options.General.SilhouetteHighlighting to True in the advanced Rhino options and see if that works better for you.
