Hi there, I have an issue that’s come up many times over the years, but is comparatively minor so never thought to report it. The issue is as follows:
When selecting a solid hatch, it turns into an opaque, solid colour which obscures any and all geometry which overlaps the hatch from being visible, regardless of draw order.
This is problematic because firstly you can’t tell if any of the other geometry overlapping the hatch is selected or not, and secondly it becomes difficult to transform the selection if you wish to snap to any of this now hidden geometry, as it is now invisible! Hopefully the screenshots below should show what I’m talking about:
A simple fix for this would simply be to make selection of solid (or all) hatches show the hatch at a lower opacity, such that the other lines are still visible. When selecting ‘selected objects’ colour in appearance options, there is no option for transparency - not sure if this is possible, but adding this option would enable us to solve the issue if we so chose.
