Selected object layer in lower bar

Hello,

for many years I have in the bar on the underside ‘selected layer objects’ turned on so that I can see in which layer the slected item is:

Now, when nothing is selected there should be nothing in that box: (picture from Rh 7)

since a view weeks when nothing is selected, it says Varies:(Rh 8)

and many times when selected only one item it still says varies: (only one item selected)

Can this be fixed so it works properly?

Hi Albert, a quick test in our latest isn’t showing this behavior. Please run SystemInfo and post the result. Thanks

I think I have the latest, and I checked with another user with the same results…

Here’s my setting…

Do note is takes a half a second to populate after a change.

The video driver could use and update:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU (NVidia) Memory: 8GB, Driver date: 10-13-2023 (M-D-Y). OpenGL Ver: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 529.19

Another variable is the 3rd party plugin

Hi I updated the videocard, removed corgi, waited some seconds after selecting an item but it doesn’t help.
Do you have other suggestions?
