Hello -here is a plug-in you can try - see if it does what you need. It has a few commands:

SelAreaLarge
SelAreaSmall
SelDiameter
SelVolLarge
SelVolSmall

To use the plug-in, unblock it in Windows, then drag and drop it onto Rhino.
