Maybe it’s a possible BUG in section tools. Hard to explain. Please watch the video. Basically I generate a plan of a building, using “section tools”, create drawing. Then, when generating another layout page, the 2D plant drawing disappears. :-). This week I have 40 students who must generate documentation via section tools, and things are not going well. I hope someone can help me. Thanks.

I’ve tried to reproduce the issue that is shown but am unable to do so here. Could you post a (simpified) 3dm file that we can use to try to reproduce this here?

The issue that was reported in this thread was fixed in Rhino 8 SR 9 and had to do with layouts. The file you posted now was saved in Rhino 8 SR 17 and contains no layout at all.

The only problem I see here is that the balcony object only gets partially drawn by the ClippingDrawings command. I’ve reported that as RH-86169 ClippingDrawings: Background Object Only Partially Drawn
If you see something else, please point that out on an image.
