Section Tools clipping plane outputting wireframe when printing

In the 8.2 version, the section tools clipping plane is printing the wireframe view on larger models

For eg, my model is of 672 polysurfaces and 2 meshes

all checked for naked and non manifold edges and got 0 errors and all have been declared valid objects.

The print preview is absolutely perfect and as needed

but, when outputting through rhino pdf, it outputs the wireframe view

Hi Shaan,

Can you run SystemInfo in the command line and post the result? Thanks!

Sorry, I already downgraded and reinstalled 8.1 and it’s working in that

I will be happy to share the system info of 8.1 for my system so that you could have a look at potential plugins

I have changed and ommited some of the personal information as this is not my personal machine and a company machine … hope this doesn’t cause too much trouble

Wherever I have changed something, I have added a highlight of what it was supposed to be

these are the files of a different project showing the same problem
8.1 output.pdf (323.8 KB)
8.2 output.pdf (2.7 MB)

A quick test on a Mesh and Polysurface Raster print is OK. Can you post a small example file that demonstrates the behavior? I’m running an early release of 8.3, there have been work in the printing as of late.

The raster has lineweight problems similar to early 8.0 releases, I will post those files as well

I can send the same file, as this is just a personal project I put on 8.2 for testing purposes
I accidentally sent the wrong pdf
8.2 output.pdf (2.7 MB)
Correct 8.2 problem file.pdf (4.2 MB)

this is the exact file that was causing the problems… I think the original file will be more helpful

I changed your view to shaded and printed Raster with no issues. Are there different steps you are taking?

yes, I mostly need line drawing for my works so, I am taking techincal viewport drawings and sometimes the pen view as well for quick snaps

I’m successful in both those display modes as well. If there was an issue in 8.2 it may have been resolved 8.3, can you confirm?

I am currently working on my drawing set but will tell you in a while if it is working or not
