Radial Pop-up replaces the box Pop-up = ‘Right equipment, lowest cost.’

Radial Pop-up Menu Design:

    1. Radial Graphical lines must be eliminated because they resemble ADesk products and detract from the modest Rhino GUI.
    1. Think of offering a radial menu that is both icon-based (Adesk) and text-customizable (Blender). While some people like symbols, others prefer text.

Don’t be like Adesk and long press RMB to open the Radial menu. Essentially, this function is a pop-up menu.

Addition 1): New Sub-Command to Pop-Up Menu: _expand


How it behaves:

  • Run Popup: The default radial menu appears.
  • Execute the sub-command ‘_Expand’ or similar’ to display the next row.
  • Drag and drop icons to the menu.

After this initial phase, McNeel will have issues with the pop-up UI, usability, etc. But first, complete the homework; users will then comment based on the previous progress. Fixing problems in the second stage of development is simple.
