I have written a script (SquishBack 3d) by useing Ai .It needs a lot of improvements.
I hope the team will help me improve its performance.
It has been tested on rhino 7 & 8

Note:
frist : use The command squish to flatten the original mesh and It is preferable to increase mesh polygon For a better result .
second : this script Transfers curves-Mesh-polysurface-extrusion & surface
and you have 4 option in command bar You can choose between them
Note:
this script transfers the objects from the flatten mesh to original mesh and in the other direction from original mesh to flatted mesh

This is a new version of script LiveSync that supports movement in any direction and rotation. and olso It needs a lot of improvements I hope everyone to write down their observations and any problems they faced while working with this script to help me improve its performance .
and i hope Rhino-devs to support us to add this command to rhino .

Did you know about Shapemap?
To me it seems is already doing what your doing but with much more features already available.
I haven’t worked on grasshopper yet, but let me try Shapemap frist.
Does anyone have any feedback? Is the script working properly?
I think it would be better to change the name from [squishback 3d] to [flow along mesh] to be more consistent with what it does.

i try several time to change the old name of the script ( SquishBack 3d LiveSync) to a new name ( Flow along Mesh LiveSync ) i deleat all loaded files and try to uploded again but evry time i guploaded with the old name . how i can chang it .
