Scope Box vs. Section Box

Hello,

Could I please put in a request for a Scope Box node similar to the Section Box (that returns a Brep)?

Also is there a way to create Scope Boxes in RiR?

Or is there a way to apply Scope Boxes to Views?

Dan, The Revit API is limited for scope boxes, here’s an old post that has an example of setting the scope box.

Hello Japhy, can I take from this that it is not possible with out of the box nodes to “set” a scope box in-terms of it’s dimensions and location.

I.e. if I want a scope box to be set to a bounding box, is that not possible?

No issue there… except if you have a rotated scope box, you’ll want to set the plane.
