The scale of the line type (for example, the styles of the cutting lines, the projection lines of the elements such as ceilings) and the texts (such as the numbering of the stairs, the letters of the sections) have been automatically modified from a file made in Rhino v7 with VA 2 and opening it in Rhino V8 with VA 3. What is the reason?
Hi @miguelayora3 there have been some changes in the way VisualARQ manages the section attributes in version 2 in Rhino 7 vs version 3 in Rhino 8. In the new version for Rhino 8, VisualARQ uses the Rhino Section Styles attributes, which is a feature that didn’t exist in Rhino 7 natively. This changes may affect the preview of line-weights of objects in display, but not in the printing results.
This changes should not affect the overhead representation of VisualARQ objects (like the projection lines of the elements such as ceilings.)
On the other hand, there have been changes in the way text attributes are assigned to VisualARQ objects, such as tags or sections, but that should not affect files saved with VisualARQ 2. Neither in the step numbers, which take the Model space size of the current Annotation style.
