Is there a way in rhino to save certain designs in a way that, when opened, it is automatically opened in read-only. Or just saving the design as a secured file such that when it is opened, it can not be edited.
In File Explorer browse to where you saved the file, right click on it and set it to be read-only.
If you’re asking about some sort of permanent tamper locking data protection of the NURBS surfaces in a 3dm file, then no. That’s not possible.
Some people mesh their models, and export only the meshes so there are no NURBS surfaces in the file you send out.
