Same hatch in two layouts with different colors

Hi everyone,
I’m stuck with trying to generate two drawings in two different layouts.

I’m using a Clipping Plane to create a hatch. The goal is to show (and print) that same hatch differently depending on the layout:

• Layout 1: hatch appears red

• Layout 2: hatch appears black

The object/hatch is already on the layer I marked, and in the Layer settings you can see that a different print color is set for each layout. However, Rhino doesn’t display or print the hatch color the way I expect.

You can also see my current settings in the screenshots.

How can I fix this?

is Print Display on the top view and not the bottom? We might need to see the file if that’s not the case.

The feature request to have section hatch patterns take the print color is on the list of things to implement and I have added your thread:
