Hi I Just got my new RTX 3080 and I see that it will not work with Rhino Cycles in Rhino6. I get a black screen when trading to render. I need to all be able to use a RTX30xx in R6 if possible, most plugins like MatrixGold don’t yet use R7. Any chance to make the RTX 30xx work on R6? Anyone buying a new pc with a nvida RTX 30xx will not be able to use it in R6. Thanks for the help.

Update to the latest Rhino 6 version. You are trailing a year behind with service release updates.
Yeah, I just seen that now when I did Copy and Past, Ill update now and let you know.
Rhino 6 SR31 2020-11-10 (Rhino 6, 6.31.20315.17001 is working great with RTX 3080. Great Stuff Thanks For the Help .

I haven’t checked but I strongly suspect Nvidia has a more recent driver for the card than last september.
Hi - from what I hear, both should be fine.
Just make sure to only install the driver and not the “experience” suite or something like that.
