Hi, Would love to see that thing happen. Somehow, in Rhino 7 you could type in Hebrew without any problem, but in Rhino 8, it became Autocad-style clumziness….
I mean… it is 2026, AI soon replaces us all, and we are about to land on Mars, and still Hebrew is switching direction in CAD software?
Jokes aside, it is a single feature that will liberate many millions of users to switch to other CAD software for documentation…
So, I double checked the Rhino WIP, as in some places I read it supports right-to-left text, but it doesn’t!
I get emails every two days to test new features in Rhino, but honestly, who needs multi-push-pull or other fancy nonsense that imitates SketchUp? Make the little effort to bring Rhino to 2026, not back to the 90’s. Adobe did it (also, took them decades), even Autocad can do that already.
A simple fix that would open a whole new world (a world without the need to arrange layouts in different software) @bobmcneel
