Hi,
Just a minor issue: If the room tag happens to be so big that it splits the area into two geometric regions, only one gets hatched.
Maybe just reduce the font size?
Thanks for the tip, the thing is that I don’t even need it working at the moment.
I just discovered it accidentally and reported it because I don’t see the reason why it shouldn’t hatch both pieces. There might be a legitimate use case where this might be an issue.
To not start a new thread entirely I will post it here.
I need to match somebody’s graphic style of representing apartment units. There will be some area calculations and an area table too. That would be an excellent opportunity to use VisualARQ Spaces. Unfortunately, styling options of the labels are very limited. I need round Labels with room numbers.
I can do quasi Space in GH from scratch but it’s an unpleasant feeling letting all that pre-made Space functionality lay unused.
Preferably I would see here use case for the nested VisualARQ GH Style and use some round tag - but nesting VA Styles is a much broader topic.
Thanks for reporting this issue. We will revise it.
I guess the only missing request here is the option to have rounded space labels or is there anything else? You can use the name field for numbering the spaces. Or a custom parameter as well, which can be displayed in the spaces.
The ultimate request would be to have a nestable style for space labels but round labels could help in that specific case I had.
Hi @Czaja,
I just want to let you know that we have just released VisualARQ 2.13, which fixes this problem you reported about hatches.
You have all the information about this new version here: VisualARQ 2 - Version 2.13 released
Enjoy!
