Right Click Layer Settings - Additional Clicks in Rhino8

Hey all,

Small thing - firstly, when I select an object and then right click on a layer for settings (see attached) I would typically type a hotkey to skip to the option, but for some reason in Rhino8, now I first have to left click on the layer then right click for the hotkey to work.

Secondly, I would usually type “C” once for “Change Object Layer” or twice for “Copy Objects to Layer”, but “C” is now set to “Collapse Sublayers”. I use the other two options dozens of times a day. Is there a way to erase what “C” is set to?

Thanks in advance.
And thanks for acting on all the printing bugs. I’m excited to finally make the transition over. Rhino8 looks really great aesthetically - nice work!

Cheers,
Devin

Hi @devingrayart,

This is on the to-do list.

Awesome thanks, Dale.

I see the preset shortcuts are gone, but I can’t type the first letter of whichever option I want in order to fast-track the selection process like I used to in Rhino7.

I’m also experiencing a lot of other finnicky clicking bugs, like my command bar isn’t active after I’ve selected something in any toolbar/panel - I have to click back in the model space to activate my command bar.
