RhinoWIP always crashes with Raytraced viewport


Setting the viewport to “Raytraced” crashes the latest RhinoWIP every time on my Mac Pro 5,1. It has a 12GB GTX TITAN X in it. GPU rendering with Cycles work in Blender 2.79b. I’m on macOS 10.13.5 with the latest available nVidia driver installed.

(On my laptop it seems to work with an AMD GPU, it’s just not powerful enough to be of any use.)

What else should I submit to help to identify the issue?

I have not been able to set up CUDA for the one Nvidia GPU mac book pro, so I have not been able to test nor fix any Nvidia GPU usage with Raytraced.

Until that happens you’ll have to use either the AMD GPU, or use CPU.

If I remember… sure! I still don’t know when I have access to a system that allows me to do what I need to do to get this working, it all depends on that (:
