Attempting to install Rhino 8.
Receive error:
Installation Failed with Error Code - Redist_VC2015: - 2147023636
Have checked latest windows update.
Have installed VC_redist.x86.exe.
Have attempted install with antivirus disabled.
Have attempted Bootstrapper
Rhino is a 64 bit application so you will need a 64 bit redist. Type “redist” into discourse’s search for some discussions about getting the proper redist from McNeel. Note that if the installer can’t find a file named “redist” in the download directory it will download a new one. That means that you need to delete or rename the one you’ve already got that isn’t working before running the installer. (BTW: be aware that spell checkers just love to change “redist” to “resist”. Annoying.)
