Rhino7 sr 10 sr11 laggy

After updating from SR9 TO SR10, processing speed is super laggy.
even if I update version to sr11, it is still laggy…

Has the system been changed a lot after SR9??
I test the same rhino file with the exactly the same two lap-top, only different version(sr9, sr10)
I could find the speed difference.

Has someone found the same issue?

Hi -

A bug got into SR10 that would cause the behavior that you are describing (RH-65697). It has to do with baking textures, and, if you are experiencing this in your workflow, the recommendation is to continue using SR9 for the time being.

I appreciate your answer. by the way, what do you mean “baking textures”???

Hi -

I hope the help file provides the information you need - https://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/7/help/en-us/index.htm#documentproperties/render.htm#TextureBaking

I got it thanks so much. Is it possible to give me a download link for sr9?
currently, it is not available…

Hi -

Of course. I guess I misread your first post and thought that you still had SR9 available.

You can find the link in this post:
