in Rhino 5 it used to be, that if you set your viewport to parallel, the result for computing the “Make2D” command with “4 view” option would be a parallel drawing in the “perspektive” viewport. In Rhino 6 this doesnt seam to be the case. If I set the viewport to parallel, the result will be tilted no matter what. Also in some cases the lower right viewport is missing (Havent really figured out a pattern when this happens). Is this a bug, or do you have a suggestion how to get the same result as for Rhino 5?
yes I think this is the same bug. I have updated to Version 6 SR11 but the problem is staying the same. Last week I told a friend about this bug and he tested the issue with his Rhino6. For his setup the “Make2D” command works fine with parallel views;
Hi Peter - can you please find out what service release of V6 your friend is running (SystemInfo command) ? That would help us pin down when the problem was introduced…
unfortunately he updated his version to the latest one (6.11) right after we tested the “Make2D” command. I guess there is no way to find out which version he was running before. All I can tell you is that he got the problem now as well;
