My Rhino vray viewport is stuck on preparing ray server…and the viewport is black. What is this about?
Black viewports are a strong indication of a buggy OpenGL driver.
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command, copy the results, and paste them into a reply.
Hopefully something obvious will stick out and suggest a change.

UPDATE: The problem is with Vray textures. Deleted all textures and now I see my model being rendered. Now reapplying all textures to see which texture was causing the problem.
