Rhino v7 mac - Keyboard shortcuts

I’m new to Rhino and am trying to set up keyboard shortcuts but can’t find where to do that.

All the tutorials I’ve seen are of Rhino 6 which appears to have Tools>Options which Rhino 7 doesn’t have.

Does anyone know how to how I can add/change keyboard shortcuts in v7?

Thank you in advance!

Gunter

That’s where the tools are for Windows Rhino.

For Mac V7 they are under Rhino 7 > Settings (Preferences) > Commands > Customize… > Keyboard shortcuts tab.

Thank you John for your quick reply!

I had actually found this section but am unable to set a new shortcut:

So I’m trying to program F4 on my mac to start a drawing at 0,0,0

It seems I have to create a customized Tool Palette Set, which I have now done.
At the bottom left, I clicked the + button but am unsure how to enter instructions
for the F4 key. Would you be able to guide me please?

Many thanks!
Gunter

Hi
In the box under Script you need to enter your Macro.
then assign the key to it [best to check it is available]
you can drag a tool button picture into the box with the ?cube, then give it some names in the upper boxes and save.

Thank you Akash, apologies as I’m a beginner, would you mind explaning what ‘script’ I need to enter?
In the windows version, it seems so much easier.

Thank you!

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by that…?
kindly explain what do you mean here by drawing?

If have a certain Macro you used in Window that do what you want? simply copy it into the Script area shown in the picture you posted.

If you are looking for a command that will do a certain function ? please explain.
Because whichever command you’d use to create any geometry, it will ask you for location [a start location if it is a curve]. then if you hit 0 it will start from the origin [0,0,0,]

Thank you Akash, I think I’ve figured it out!
