Hello, I’m runing Rhino 5 under windows 10. Until recently (updated my graphic card drivers) Rhino behavior was right suddenly and I’m not sure that this happen because the updated drivers, Rhino start using all my available memory, resulting on a system crash. I did a screen capture when this happen and as you can see there is a second rhino open, don’t know why or what is it. I’m only working on one file . When I end the task rhino start to work fine again.
Sorry, you haven’t supplied anything we need to understand or troubleshoot this issue.
Let’s start with a few questions…
It sounds like this happens with only one file?
I assume you have worked on other files without this problem?
Does the file have any “bad” objects in it (SelBadObjects)?
Are you using any plug-ins?
You mentioned this problem starting about the time up updated display drivers. Please take a screenshot of the setting in Options > View > OpenGL
Hello John, Sorry if I did not sypply enough info. Here are the my answers

So far yes. I’m testing it with a different filke now I assume you have worked on other files without this problem?
Yes all my previous files where working perfectly Does the file have any “bad” objects in it (SelBadObjects)?
I did run the command and no bad objects where slected Are you using any plug-ins?
I do have many plug ins loaded but during the crash no plug ins are being used by me. Just simple rhino commands (like measure or rotating the object) You mentioned this problem starting about the time up updated display drivers. Please take a screenshot of the setting in Options > View > OpenGL
Here is the screen shot.
Also I noticed that when I close rhino there still a task called rhino that is runing. Here is a screen shot of my two screens with no rhino but the windows task manager says that there is one runinng
1 - Check the nVidia Control Panel to be sure you have the two memory and performance related settings adjusted as detailed on the bottom of this support page: http://wiki.mcneel.com/rhino/nvidiainfo
2 - Temporarily disable all of the plug-ins that did not ship with Rhino.
Options > Plug-ins: Change the list filter to make selecting them easier. Disable them and restart Rhino.
I did customize the Nvidia settings as you suggested. It does help a bit on the graphic side. I also disable all the plug ins that does not ship with rhino except for Grasshopper (ts an every day tool for me) I’ll let you know if this solves the problem
thank you
