Rhino Text Field Block CAD interoperabilty

Hi All

Thanks in advance for any tips and tricks

I’m trying to export a Rhino Layout that have text fields into CAD but they come in empty.

Inside the block in cad you can see it is a text field but the text can’t be found anywhere

Wonder if anyone has faced this issue.

Hi Nicolas -

Round-tripping text fields via the DWG file format appears to be working fine in a quick test here.
Please provide both the output from the Rhino SystemInfo command and a 3dm file that you are having issues with.

Thanks so much for this. I found a workaround. But it would be amazing to get the layouts to work. We do a lot of exporting to CAD for fabrication.

Let me know is you want anything else to try and replicate the issue.
