Hi, I’m having an issue with Rhino 7 for windows where one certian file will open with a black screen on the view ports and stay like that. If I try and click anything the program will stop working and ask me if I want to close it. Does anyone have any fixes for this?
Hi Jackson - please run SystemInfo
in Rhino and post the results. My guess is a plug-in is involved, let’s see what you have installed.

Hi Jackson - I’d first update to the latest:
https://www.rhino3d.com/download/archive/rhino/7/latest/
then, if that does not help, start Rhino in Safe Mode (type ‘Rhino’ in the Winbdows start menu and find the safe mode version). Then open the file from that Rhino - any better?

I updated and started in safe mode but it still is not opening
Hi Jackson, please zip and upload the file here, to my attention: Rhino - Upload to Support
