I’m using Rhino with three containers in the right sidebar.
With one of the containers showing Block Definitions, Rhino is losing focus when editing object names.
In the videeo, note how the cursor jumps from the name text field to the command line after entering a character.

Glad I found when it was happening. Confused me for a while now…
In my case Rhino 8 is always out of focus… I never see Rhino window label as black text, its always gray. Due to containers i’m facing real issue that my plugin doesn’t accept keyboard input when docked to the side.
In my case it’s Win10, 8.3.24009.15001, 2024-01-09
Thanks, i added this as a comment. I’ll mark this as major bug if its affecting your plugin.
Just to be entirely clear, I’m not sure if Rhino window “focus” have anything in common with keyboard input issue, however for sure containers have, as it works when panel is floating, and when right dock is minimized and pops up, but when docked I hear only windows “ding” sound.

I marked the topic as Solved but wanted to let you know that there is a weird delay when entering text very quickly. After entering a first character, the cursor disappears for a short moment and the second character appears with a delay.
