Rhino limiting my internet speed

Hey forum,

I have a very weird finding on my computer.
For two weeks I’ve had limited internet speed and had IT support trying to help me out.
Today I found out that it’s only when I have Rhino running.

With Rhino running, the tests at speedtest.net go to 50mb/s and then quickly drops to around 8mb/s.
As soon as I close Rhino, I’m getting 200mb/s.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I’ll update this post if I find any conclusion such as which plugin may cause it etc. (This is without starting Grasshopper btw).

Here’s todays sampling of speedtest:

9:20  180/120 mb/s

opening Rhino, Chrome, Teams, Outlook, Slack
10:10 9/3 mb/s
11:15 3/3 mb/s (in a teams meeting)
13:55  8/8 mb/s
14:00 9/4 mb/s

Close  revit, Rhino, teams,
15:40 180/180 mb/s

Starting Rhino
15;45  8/4 mb/s

Closing Rhino
15:46 190/180 mb/s

Starting rhino
15:48 8/8 mb/s

Maybe run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy/paste the results here so we can see which plug-ins might be running…

I get about 540/135 here with or without Rhino 7 running.

Changed the NVIDIA settings and disabled lenovo optimizations (although couldnt find the network booster).

The problem is now gone, thanks! Next beer is on me (BIG = Beer is good, right?)
