Rhino irrelevant linetypes

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know how to delete irrelevant linetypes all at once in Rh7?
I’ve tried using “Purge, and I can’t select multiple linetypes at the same time”. Since there are over 1,000 of them, deleting them one by one is extremely time consuming.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated — thanks in advance!

In the Purge command, is Linetypes set to yes?

Yes, it sets to “yes”
I guess the linetypes are on one of the sublayer and might be locked, which could be why I can’t purge them. Strangely though, I can delete them through the options menu.

I’ll try to identify the specific layer, that’s the most likely reason I can think of for now.

We have this issue on our list as RH-81440 Allow Multiple Linetype Edit in Panel for Model units
I added this thread to that ticket.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of situation produces that many line types in the first place?
Especially since they all look the same in your screenshot.

Thanks, but it doesn’t seem to be a function in RH7, though.

I’m not sure, I guess it’s because the file has many layers imported from the government’s drawing.

It’s not a function in any version yet.
Our list of bugs and feature requests is mostly open to the public and we provide a link to the relevant ticket when someone reports a bug or requests a feature. This way, an interested user can check the status of any given item at any time.
This particular improvement request is currently open and on Trav’s list for Rhino 9.x:
