Rhino Inside Revit not showing on Revit

Hi all, I’m having trouble getting Rhino.Inside.Revit to load in Revit.

I installed Rhino.Inside.Revit, but it does not appear as a normal Rhino.Inside tab in the Revit ribbon. It does, however, appears in Add-In Manager / External Tools, not as its own tab nor in the Add-Ins.

I’ve tried to reinstall Rhino.Inside.Revit multiple times, also disabled 3rd party plugin in rhino, restarting etc. But nothing seemed to work

I have:

Revit 2026.2

Rhino 7

RhinoInside.Revit 1.35.9607.16352

Any advices would be appreciated!

Hi Jen, Revit 2026 runs in .netcore 8, whereas Rhino 7 can only run in .netframework 4.8, you’ll need to use Rhino 8 or above to use RiR in Revit 2025 and above.

Hi Japhy, would changing my revit to 2024’s version resolve this?

Yes, any version before Revit 2025 will work in Rhino 7 (or 8)
