Not sure if its the version problem or its just my display settings problem , recent couple of days , I cannot open Rhino.inside revit without it crashing. The thing that triggers it crash is the scaling or changing size of display of rhino, like from 4 views to 1 . Not sure where can I get help …

Hi. 遲了悔改,

We’ll need more information to be able to help.

Can you provide your About info and a small example or steps to reproduce

Thanks

it just happens when i open any revit model , no matter of the size , and after turning on Rhino.inside, if I try to scale the display port , or change the window size in anyway that can affect the dimension of the display port . It will crash.

That’s an odd one, we’ll need to first troubleshoot by running Revit without any addon/plugins.

I tried the above method Japhy, even with all other plugins disabled , it still crashes in the same way - nothing drawn in rhino, just scaling of viewport and crahses.

I noticed that I only clashed with my external GPU connected , but I have been using it for over two years now. So it went through a lot of versions of Rhino.inside without crashing like this …

When in Rhino.inside.Revit can you run the SystemInfo command in the Rhino command line and post the results? Thanks

can you remove or update your citrix device? These have caused issues in the past.

Is this the latest V-Ray? we should disable this for troubleshooting purposes.

Not sure if this could be related but this windows bug was recently reported in resizing a toolbar.

I am looking at that with company IT on the update on Citirix , will keep you posted.
Disabled Vray too . and used the testerrorcheck command to get some more info for you.

But the RhinoCrash Dump.dmp is too big to upload here , is there anywhere I can sent it ?

Try Zipping and uploaded here. Please put a link to this thread in the description.

The RhinoDotNetCrash.txt is pointing towards something windows related.

Yup, just sent it your way. Thanks a lot !

Hi Japhy,

I manage to resolve that issue by turning the gpu on the laptop disable. Might be the issue when things are on one GPU and need to jump to another GPU ?
