Rhino Inside in blender

Hello

I saw that the Rhino Inside feature is under development which allows you to transport Rhinoceros resources to any program.

will it be possible to use all the 3D drawing tools in Blender?

has a release date?

thanks

There is a plugin for blender to import 3dm but not for grasshopper

what does this plugin call?

Rhino Inside Blender I tried, but last time Rhino messes with the OpenGL context of Blender, resulting in a crash. @stevebaer also started looking into this a few months ago, but I don’t know how far he got with that.

but what is Rhino Inside for in Blender?
does he have all the Rhino Nurbs 3D drawing tools inside Blender?

Rhino Inside would mean having essentially direct access to the Rhino geometry kernel. You’d still use the Blender interface, but could use surfacing tools once accessed properly.

and has it been released yet?

Do you have a download link?

it’s free ?

What exactly do ask? If Rhino Inside for Blender has been released?

Yes

and where do i download?

Not sure if you read my first response, but Rhino Inside does not work in Blender yet. As such there is nothing to release.

If I ever get it to work then the add-on to Blender itself probably will be free (who knows), but you’ll still need a valid Rhino license to install Rhino and run it inside Blender.

I can’t install

when installing the addon blender 2.81 says it installed but I can’t find anything in the interface that might indicate that it is installed

Enable the add-on through Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.

Once enabled you can use File > Import menu to see the 3DM import entry,.

nothing from 3dm import appears in the preferences window - addons
