Rhino export to .plt and footwear design

Hello,

I have a client that wishes to use Rhino for footwear design and production. He is using a Zund lc-2400 machine.

RhinoShoe from TDM seems like a good solution for him, but, unfortunately, TDM is discontinuing development of this plugin. Could anyone recommend a suitable replacement if there is one available?

Also, is there a plugin or method to export rhino files as .plt? So far, I have only been able to find PLT export for Rhino (https://www.rhino3d.com/resources/1611), but it seems to be discontinued and was only available for Rhino 3 and 4.

I would greatly appreciate any help, thank you!

I suggest you try using the Uniconvertor to convert it, and here are the steps about how to use it.

  1. Download and install the Uniconvertor
  2. Run the SaveAs command to export all geometry to .AI file in Rhino
  3. Use the cursor right-click on the converted .AI file, then click Convert by Uniconvertor
