Adobe Illustrator V3 or V8 export

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to save a rhino file to Adobe Illustrator in an older format. The machine control software for a rolling machine that we are working on only supports older versions of Illustrator, they said only version 3 but I tried 8 and it work too. Presently I have to save a SVG from rhino6 and open it in Adobe Illustrator and than save as AI V8 or V3 to have files read into the machine software. so I was wondering if it’s possible Play preferences that would control versions or if there might be a plug-in iof an older illustrator export I could use?

Here is a similar machine video:

Best regards,

You might want to give this a look, its open source, and does not run directly from Rhino. Somebody here could probably make that work, although I’m not a coder so im not sure what would be involved.
