Rhino Dimensions always slightly wrong

Sorry. By “example” I meant a 3dm file with that bit of geometry and the dimensions.
I believed you the first time. I need a sample file to see why it appears the way it does.

Thanks

Hi @christianwatson.cw

How did you draw it at 200? How do you know you didn’t draw it at 200.5? So far we only have half the picture.

Edit: If you started from the 3D item and used Make2d, then you should know that the equivalent dimension on the 3D item is actually 200.50 as well. Considering this in conjunction with the sloping line found by @brianj1 I suspect you may not be drawing as precisely as you imagine. If that is the case then these links may help:

If you want conclusive help figuring this out, do the following:
Make a 3dm file that has 2 dimensions that look like they should say the same thing and they don’t.
No other dimensions to confuse things, just the geometry being dimensioned and the dimensions.
And upload that file here.
People are eager to help, but need some conclusive evidence to look at.

Without that, more explaining isn’t likely to help.
