Rhino Crashes in Monochrome

Hello dear Rhino team,
Rhino crashes in monochrome mode on my computer. After about 2-5 minutes in 3D view with monochrome mode enabled, everything freezes and the only thing that helps is a hard reset of the laptop.
The Windows event log says Kernel 41.
Is this a known issue? Should I just avoid using monochrome on my laptop with integrated Intel graphics, or is there a workaround?

First of all, thank you for your efforts.
I tried it and it worked for maybe 30 seconds longer before freezing up again. Is this a general problem with Intel in monochrome mode? Would completely reinstalling the laptop help?

edit: Oh, by the way, I figured out that it’s because of the shadows (but without shadows, it’s somehow not the same).
