Rhino account login seems to be down

Hi @wim and @pascal, I am trying to download Rhino 8, but can not log in to Rhino Accounts (https://accounts.rhino3d.com/) but it just hangs, clicking on the “email me a login link” fails too.

Can you please try again? The system was just restarted, since it had some problems.

Hi Marika.
Thanks, I just tested now, and nothing happens, it just doesn’t respond and rests on this page:

Hei Jørgen -

It looks like we have some ongoing problems with cloud zoo. This is being looked into.

Hi @Holo, this looks to be unrelated to the problems that we had with Cloud Zoo earlier. If you go to https://accounts.rhino3d.com in a different browser (or on a different device) and attempt to login, do you experience the same behaviour (where hitting enter or clicking on the “>” button does nothing)?

I have had this behavior many times in the recent past. I think I made a post about it. Sometimes hitting the arrow button does nothing, no matter how many times you hit it. Often I find if I delete the stored password (Chrome) and input it again manually it works to log in. Even though the stored password is identical to the manually re-typed one.

I tried that too, but my edge browser also had the data stored, and it failed. I also tried manually typing in the passwords manually in both browsers.

This worked, I use Crome too. Thanks for the workaround, very strange behaviour and I can confirm that I used the exact same password as the stored one, and I could not find any errors in what was stored for the site.

I guess this will be a tough bug to track since we now have deleted and recreated the login data.

I’ll tag your reply as the Solution Mitch, even though it isn’t

Definitely isn’t, and still happens to me fairly often.

Thanks for this @Helvetosaur! Agreed that this is not a solution, but it will hopefully be useful in trying to track down the real cause of the problem.

@Helvetosaur are you still seeing this issue? I made some changes last month that should hopefully have stopped it from happening.
