Rhino 8 won't open on windows

hello all I hope you can help me.

i have been trying to open Rhino 8 on my computer but it wont even show the start up screen it usually shows when i click the app icon.

I have tried to fix it throughout the control panel but it did not improve.

I checked the task manager. I click the app and it will show on the task manager as if it was running on the back and then it disappears from the tasks bar. (life if it closed itself)

I uninstalled it twice, still the same.

I really would like to know what else can be done.

Was it running on this machine previously, or is this the first time you tried?

Best is to try a repair of Rhino instead of a reinstall.
