I noticed, that the Undo function seems to be broken. Whatever I do, once I press CTRL+Z, I get the message in console informing me, that there’s nothing to undo, even with basic functions like move.
Hi Pascal. It seems to work in a clean scene, I might have jumped the gun with my preemptive bug report. I’ll try to investigate the scene that’s giving me trouble a bit more thoroughly and get back to you ASAP
Same issue here.
I’m just testing the new Rhino functions with Version 8
(8.0.23304.9001, 2023-10-31).
Undo not working suddenly and saying “Nothing to undo.”
While in “Multiple undo” there are a list of commands I’ve done.
But when I starts a new file it’s normal.
Any idea why?
Undos do not work across the board. If I delete an object it’s gone forever. The only things I can “undo” are those that I can retrace my steps using “opposite” commands (move, align, etc.).
Hi, same here. I’m running the 8.8 as well and undo is gone. I see that the bug is going on for quite some time now. Team please do something solid ! That’s a serious issue.
@Bob14 if this happens again, pls send your command history and _SystemInfo
There are a couple of cases reported of Undo stopping to work, I’ve run into it myself as well, but could not reproduce it by following the same steps. Difficult to reproduce also means hard to solve. If you have steps to reproduce or can indicate things you were doing before it stopped working, pls let us know.
I am also having this problem, it can only be solved by doing a save as and opening the previous save, often losing a lot of work. Over the last 2/3 weeks this is happening multiple times every day, I have since updated 2 new service releases and now have the latest one and the problem persists. Having used Rhino 4,5,6,7 and now 8, this is the first time I’ve seen this issue, but it doesn’t seem to be solved yet.
