Rhino 8 tutorial?
I got a 90-day evaluation and need guidance before it ends. The Help/Learn Rhino/Tutorials…path; brings me “Rhino Level 2 Training Guide.pdf”. Probably not yet updated for R8? Because the instructions there are obviously not in sync with R8… Any other way to pick up the enormous potential of Rhino 8?

Rhino 8 and Grasshopper 2
I just watched the videos “What’s New in Rhino8”; a very good overview, thanks. But, how do I get access to Grasshopper 2. When just typing it in the command line, the R8 doesn’t know. There must be another way?

You need to install Grasshopper2.
PackageManager command.
Search for Grasshopper. Select Grasshopper2 and Install
If you’re just learning Rhino I’d hold of on Grasshopper 2 as it’s a work in progress. Beta testing (if it’s even at that stage?) while trying to learn Rhino itself is a tall order. It can be done but you really have to have a reason for it.
The Level 1 & 2 Training Guides are the way to go unless you’re an ultra fast learner. They are dated but mostly still valid for R8. They really ought to update them though.
Here’s a Link to (I think) the Level 1 Training because for some reason, the easiest Google Link to find brings you to a site where it asks you to enter your email to get the manual (is that not a waste of everyone’s time??):
Here’s the level 2 manual:

Here’s the parent link:
If you’re a fast learner then videos related to what you’re trying to model might be the way to go. There’s so much that Rhino can do that it means a lot of people only use certain features. I’ll probably only ever use around 20% of it.
in the tutorial tells how to download the models for the exercise however the list of tutorial in my Rhino is empty, any particular reason?
It used to be easy to download models directly though “help” within Rhino but it appears to have changed. Maybe someone else can help. I only had a quick look.
Edit: Anyways… what model are you looking for specifically? It is probably on your HDD just which directory is the question.
It seems a bit borked to be honest. Like why are there two search prompts? It was basically perfect before.
I may have found the files you’re looking for (I’m not 100% sure what you’re after just guessing):
Basically, go to “Help”, “Learn Rhino”, “Tutorials and Samples…”, and all the stuff should appear in the help window.
If you double-click it should open the files:
