Rhino 8 text output

I seem to have lost the ability to output text as a curve or surface in Rhino 8. I was hoping to extrude into a solid, but can’t seem to do it anymore. Am I missing something?

Did you try the command TextObject ?

Simply Explode the text block, and you will be left with a number of closed curves, so you have to Group them to maintain it as text (even the inside and outside of the “O”).
Then extrude in the usual way.

Thank you all. TextObject worked, it just isn’t the command that’s selected when you use the menus.
